Hey there! I'm Madeleine, I'm from Orange, New South Wales but currently living in Brisbane studying at Griffith University. My degree is a double, Bachelor of International Tourism and Hotel Management/Bachelor of Business, and my business major is Human Resource Management. Now here's a bit about me, I am loyal, kind and I get along with people because I'm tolerant and accepting. I grew up with a lot of different people in my life and evolved through experience. My cousin has special needs and spending lots of time with him has taught me patience and to be more understanding. My family and the people in my life are diverse and I find I can connect with many people. I am IVF born and I feel, even though I am young, I hold a great deal of life experience for my age.
I lived in a share house for a year with 14 other people. It had its difficulties, but I enjoyed their company and I became more reasonable. I confided in them and they, too, in me. A friend, new to Australia, often came to me as someone to talk to. We grew close and she opened up to me about being gay and I was loyal and kept her secret for three months before she had the courage to tell another person.
From a young age I have had operations on my ears due to having grommets and those turning and splitting my eardrums. It was a lengthy process to recover my hearing and again through this I grew as a person. This and other influences have taught me to be strong, resilient and understanding.
I am a passionate and social person who is dedicated to helping others around me. I strive through determination to be the best person I can be and help those around me however I am able.
